Gig Harbor

Gig Harbor is an historic fishing and logging town and has a mile-long scenic bay with easy access to Puget Sound. It is a mecca for boating and water-sports enthusiasts.  Sail, kayak, and paddle board in the safe confines of the harbor and gaze at the enormous Mount Rainier in the backdrop. While Gig Harbor is largely known for its amazing view of Mount Rainier from the historical downtown waterfront district, there are many other areas of Gig Harbor to explore. Gig Harbor is a vibrant community where on any given day you can choose from a plethora of activities.  Whether you would like to stroll along the waterfront and shop at the local boutiques or maybe you want to learn about Gig Harbor's heritage at the Harbor History Museum or maybe even take in a little outdoor adventure golfing, kayaking, or biking along the Cushman trail.  And don't forget about the many amazing and locally owned eateries.
